GVEA, Flint Hills partner to truck natural gas to Fairbanks

Projects have been discussed for years to deliver gas to the Interior, including state efforts to promote a gas pipeline and efforts by the Fairbanks North Star Borough and Alaska Gasline Port Authority to explore a separate trucking plan. GVEA has made it's decision and yet again the Port Autority has failed. The borough assembly has spent hundreds of thousands of borough property tax dollars on this group and still they want more and more. Not one molecule a gas and over a hald a million down the drain and another over $6 million in debt. Just maybe this borough should do as Barrow did, remove itself from the Alaska Gasline Port Authority. Nevertheless, I have very little doubt the Koch's will score a victory, (and that's much different than my predictions for the AGPA-FNG-GVEA brewing fiasco,)-- they will get the job done and they will reap the lion's share of the rewards, and if they choose to, will through "charitable" acts scatter some crumbs on us.
