Due to time limitations i am looking to see if outsourcing is an option.
What i am looking for:
A programmer with SNMP experience who is capable of making an application that pulls data from an rs485 connected device and converts that to SNMP messages.
I will use cacti to display the rs485 telemetry data (through SNMP).
I have been looking at net-snmp as it is an open platform which runs on multiple processors. The host device is not to be determined yet but will run linux.
